Our Mandate

To represent the interests and concerns of Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema students in internal and external affairs and to provide them with further support and guidance where appropriate

To serve as a liaison between students, faculty, and staff

To foster a social and intellectual community at the School of Cinema

To hold regular and open meetings that function in a democratic and inclusive manner

To maintain as non-hierarchal a structure as possible through shared responsibilities and roles

To help organize and host the year-end screenings

To organize extra-curricular activities and events

To push cinema beyond its borders

To drink beer while discussing our filmic alter-egos and being otherwise pretentious and having inappropriate ideas regarding the future activities of the CSA

To raise a ruckus
